Robinsons Moviewrold 3D Experience

It’s like you’re in a fairytale land, with all the magic spells and other special effects, for real! Surreal!

I can still remember my very first 3D Experience when I was 13, my brother bought Shrek 3D DVD Special Edition with free 2 ridiculous cardboard 3D eyeglasses. It was kinda weird though that was the only way to entertain ourselves so we watched it in a 21-inch TV. I don’t know what 3D looks like in movies, especially in Shrek. By the way, that was my first time, for real.

3D Films, especially without using special 3D eyeglasses, looked like very distracting. I wore that ridiculous shades, watched the 3D movie and it was surreal. With all objects coming infront of you. I asked myself, “paano kaya kung sa Big Screen ko ‘to panonoorin?”, but the problem was that 3D was not that famous in the country, never been used in gigantic and well known cinemas before but someday, sisikat din ito.

At nagkatotoo na nga ang SOMEDAY na sinabi ko. In the country, nauso ang IMAX Theatre and 3D Cinemas. And finally, 3D is here in GenSan, and thanks to Robinsons Movieworld, another first in GenSan and second in Mindanao, after Digital 3D in Davao.

Last May 20, Robinsons Movieworld invited us to experience the revolutionized 3D experience with some GenSan Bloggers and other VIP Guests, in their so-called 3D Premiere at Robinsons Movieworld. We were so lucky to be one of those so-called VIP Guests to experience the first 3D in GenSan. And also, thanks for the freebies! 

The bigger, the better. Talaga lang, mas maganda kapag manood ka ng 3D movies sa big screen, just like what we did. The whole movie was awesome. Parang nasa totoong lugar ka ng pelikula and all of us were laughing because of the special effects. Special effects, parang all of the things that you can see in the movie is on 3D, totoong-totoo. That was one-of-kind movie experience.
