My gift for the SOX Christmas Party
I arrived the meeting place at exactly 7:30 am, sa harap pala ng Puriculture Center, just beside the City Hall. Natense pa ako because akala ko late na ako and they left me, pero thank God nakita ko ang presence nina Sir Avel and Sir Gilbert na nag-uusap sa tabi ng L300 van. Oh anlaki pala ng mga mata ko. Yun pala nag-aantayan pa sila and kami na nina ate Hannah and ate Van ang nakarating that time.
After 5 mins, dumating sina kuya Tanchi, ate Mel and kuya Roman, mga Dameans. I saw them carrying DSLR's and nainggit ako. I don't have a camera to use for the seminar except my old china phone. But still it's useless because it's not a good camera. VGA lang yun and siguro mga 0.2MP lang yun and the color's too malasaw.
After 5 minutes, Ma'am Jinky's two daughters arrived. Sina ate Rafi and Tina. Actually, Tina's my former schoolmate sa MSU-CETD when I was in high school but we're not totally close that time. I thank God, again, may companion akong at least kakilala ko at hinding-hindi akong mahiyang makipag-usap. Pero I should use my EPAL POWERS to know other bloggers.
We were still waiting for others until I saw a BLUE "FORD" car which was too familiar for me. There, I saw someone opened the door of the car and he stepped out. He's wearing orang-colored polo shirt with new haircut. So, he's no other than Sir Orman. He's with the guest speaker / lecturer, so I grabbed the opportunity to see her. Pero meron talagang tumatakbo sa isip ko that time. She looks familiar to me, maybe I saw her before or "DEJAVU". It really bothers me, A LOT.
When they decided to go na, as in aalis na sa GenSan, na-excite pa ako nang todong-todo. We left 8:30 in the morning. As we travelling, merong ice breaker na ginanap. Thanks to kuya Roman, with his intelligence and humor, pinasaya at pinasakit niya ang mga ulo namin sa kakaisip sa kanyang ice breakers like "Ping Pong Pang", his "The answer is the number of the answer" game and "guess what's in the music room" game. We just keep on laughing sa maling hula namin sa mga sagot, at sa mga SL or slow learners tulad ko. Mahirap talaga magets ang mga larong yan lalo na basta logic problems. I know naaliw din sina kuya Tanchi, sir Gilbert, ate Rafi, ate Van, ate Mel and Tina. During the ice breaker game, I saw sir Avel sleeping sa front seat. Hindi halatang kulang sa tulog si sir. :)
Time ran so fast as we arrived in the venue at 9:30am. I was not expecting na makarating kami very very fast. Siguro dahil sa Ice Breaker, hindi namin namalayan.
Watch Out for the Part Two...
