Sarah Geronimo's The Next One: Concert of the Century

The Next One - Sarah Geronimo Philippine Tour 2009 - GenSan
"WOOOH.. People screaming with exhilaration as Sarah Geronimo performs her record-breaker concert in GenSan. Pero hindi po ako kasali sa mga taong sumisigaw."

Truly it was a jam-packed concert, the tickets were sold-out, many people were at the Lagao Gym to witness the final The Next One Philippine Tour and hindi naman kami binigo. At exactly 8:45 in the evening, the concert started with song and dance number. Sumayaw nang todo ang GFORCE and one of their members eh kamukha talaga ni Katreena... By the way, Katreena's my friend and classmate. So back to the story, galing nilang sumayaw. "b>I think they choreographed the whole dance duration of the concert. So i was amazed, pero naging fish-eyed na ako when Sarah stepped out the backstage and she was like, peroformed very well with her dance moves, and her rocky voice na hinusayan niya nang todong todo. All avid fans of Sarah were screaming her name.

Isa-isa namang lumabas ang kanyang guest performers. Lahat sila merong solo and duet numbers kay Sarah. Nauna rito si Simon Wood, anak ng the Legend Victor Wood. Then Mark Bautista's charming voice made the audience scream a lot. Nakakabingi talaga ang sigaw ng mga tao lalo na sa lower and upper boxes. Then the comedienne este comedian singer Jimmy Marquez made us hoot with his bombastic punch lines. I thought he was like a serious singer like Mark or Christian, yun pala mas serious pa kay Pokwang at Melay ng PBB. And seriously, kamukha niya si Melay. LOL. Of all the guest performers, kay Jimmy lang ako natuwa kahit gumamit siya ng deep words na bisaya. Next naman sa kansy si Jay-ar. I'm not that avid supporter of him pero nagustuhan ko ang kanyang pag-revive ng mga kanta ni Neyo. Marami namang nalungkot dahil walang Billy Crawford na lumabas sa backstage. Sayang kasi inaabangan ko pa naman yan siya.

The Finale of the concert was that Sarah wore a yellow dress, and it looks so expensive, I think, then she sang "Sana Ngayong Pasko". The audience were astonished sa kanyang kagandahan, sa boses, at sa mensahe ng kanta. It was stamped-on-my-memory experience. Pinuntahan ko ang co-bloggers after the concert, and nagpa-picture taking kami. There, I met many of the bloggers and plurkers. Tamang-tama lang talaga na kasali sa "5 Reasons Why I Should Watch The Next One Concert" ang makabonding man lang sila. Oh diba? :D

Super duper thanks to the organizers, producers, the Dreamwork Ventures and High Frequency Productions, produced by Mr. Michael Wee, the Local City Gov't of General Santos, National and Local Sponsors, hindi ko na iisa-isa pa basta alam niyo na kayo 'yun, to Mr. Avel for the contest, and to Sarah herself for bringing the world-class performance dito sa GenSan, second-time around. Dapat lang talaga na "magconcert ka nalang every night".
